• Excuse me, but have you seen it?

I seem to have misplaced my motivation.

I had it this morning when I left the house. I had it while I was grocery shopping. I had it in the car on the way back. But somewhere in the course of getting everything out of the car and into the house, I’ve misplaced it.

Maybe it’s in one of the grocery bags, which I’m now remembering are still sitting on the stovetop downstairs. Or in the several bags from my weekend visit that I just plopped on the bed, on top of the large box that was delivered over the weekend. Maybe I left it in the car with the box of trash bags I didn’t have enough hands left to carry in. It’s certainly not in the various social media platforms I’ve been scrolling for the last half hour.

I hope I find it. I had things to do today.
